How to reverse a position or close all trades at once
The Positions panel gives you bulk and one-action controls beyond closing trades individually. Reverse closes a position and immediately opens the same size in the opposite direction (turning a buy into a sell of equal volume, or vice versa). Close All shuts every open position at once, and you can also close only your profitable ones or only your losing ones, or close all positions on a single symbol. These are handy for reacting quickly to the market, but they execute at live prices with One-Click, so they realize profit or loss immediately. You can also partially close a position by closing less than its full volume.
- 1Open the Positions panel in the Trading Terminal.
- 2To flip one trade, use Reverse on that position.
- 3To exit many at once, use Close All, or choose to close only profitable / only losing positions.
- 4To exit a single instrument, use the close-all-for-symbol action on that symbol.
