Trading commission on the terminal: how it's calculated and when you pay
When you trade on the Trading Terminal, you pay a round-turn commission (it covers both opening and closing the position). The base rate depends on the asset class, charged in euros per lot: Forex €7/lot, Crypto €6/lot, Commodities €8/lot, Indices €5/lot, Stocks €10/lot, ETFs €10/lot. The formula is `base rate × volume (lots) × (1 − your tier discount)`. For example, a 2-lot EUR/USD trade at the base Minimum tier costs 7 × 2 = €14. Two important details: (1) commission is realized when you close the position (it is included in your closed trade's net P&L, not deducted when you open), and (2) your membership tier reduces it — higher tiers pay less. The order ticket always shows the exact commission for the trade you're about to place, and the symbol's spec sheet shows the per-lot base rate.
- 1Open the order ticket for any symbol.
- 2Set your volume in lots — the ticket recalculates the commission live.
- 3Read the commission line: if your tier gives a discount, you'll see the full rate struck through and the discounted amount in gold.
- 4Place the trade — no balance is deducted for commission at this point.
- 5When you close the position, the commission is applied and shown in your realized (net) P&L.
