What happens after you apply
Four things happen, in this order:
- A financial adviser calls you to confirm the terms and the bank before anything is opened.
- We open the deposit account in your name at the bank you chose, and handle the paperwork with them.
- You receive the transfer details — an invoice carrying your own reference number — and you transfer the amount by SEPA.
- Interest starts when the transfer arrives at the bank. The term runs from that day, not from the day you applied.
Because step 2 involves a real bank account opening, this is not instant. Your adviser will tell you what to expect for the bank you picked.
Until the deposit is actually placed, your platform balance stays untouched, and you can withdraw the request at any point by telling your adviser.
